Dancing isn’t just about steps and music - it’s the perfect combination of physical activity, social interaction and mental stimulation.  Dance is a powerful ally for developing a child physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.  It provides children with multiple perspectives in a foundation of experience necessary for future development and has been proven to enhance academic performance.  We also offer adult dance classes.

Toddler Dance Classes
Age 12-35 months
  
Mom & Tots!     A fun, interactive class for parent (Mom, Dad or Grandparent) and child (age 12-35 months)  During this "one on one" time, parents will have the joy and fun of helping to develop the child's motor skills, coordination, and musicality through dance movement.  Class is formatted with structure and continuity, yet is flexible enough to accomodate the varied levels of development for optimal learning and fun.  Using music and props with dance movement, parents will see their child "make the connection" in their visual, audio, and motor skills.  Besides the physical benefits, this toddlers dance class provides the child with focus, motivation, accomplishment, and social interaction- all while simply having fun!   This class offered intermittently throughout the year.  Please contact us for further details.   
  
  
Preschool Dance Classes
Age 3-5     (5 year olds not in Kindergarten yet)
     
Dance FUNdamentals    The perfect introductory dance class for ages 3-5. Using a fun and positive approach, an optimum learning environment is established to provide a solid foundation for dance education through the enhancement of visual, audio, and cognitive skills.  Students will learn dance fundamentals, movement concepts, and musicality while working on the flexibility, strength, and stamina needed for learning all dance forms.  Preschool  DanceFUNdamentals offered during our summer dance camps and during the school year.  Schedules & Pricing
  
Pre Tap     Using the feet as musical instruments, tap dancing has long been a fun and beneficial dance style that anyone can learn.  Just like all forms of dance, tapping promotes strength, coordination, control, and cardiovascular conditioning in the body.  Tap dancers develop refined movement of the feet and ankles as they dance to the rhythm and timing of virtually any music genre.  Preschool Tap Dance classes offered during our summer dance camps and during the school year.  Schedules & Pricing
  
  
Youth Dance Classes
Level I:  age 5-8     (5 year olds in Kindergarten)
Level II:   age 9+
         
Ballet I & II    The benefits of ballet dancing extend beyond beauty and grace. Known as the “foundation” of learning other dance forms, the athleticism of ballet promotes flexibility and better posture while it sculpts, strengthens, and tones the body.  It also develops poise, body awareness, refined movement, stamina, and attention to detail through self discipline, concentration, and the desire to excel.  Children's ballet classes offered during our summer dance camps and during the school year.  Schedules & Pricing
          
Jazz I & II    Jazz dance represents a forever changing form of popular and creative dance movement since the 1920’s.  As a part of our modern culture, the style and appearance of jazz continues to change and evolve.  From the styles of Fred Astaire in movies to Bob Fosse in theatrical productions to the popping movements of break dancing in the streets, jazz dancing offers a broad scope of fun and innovative dance movement to a variety of music choices.  Children's Jazz classes offered during our summer dance camps and during the school year.  Schedules & Pricing
       
Hip Hop I & II    This energetic and dynamic form of dance, formerly known as “jazz funk” originated in the 1970’s when new moves evolved from “street jazz” to accompany the funky sounds of hip hop music.  Originally danced through “battles” in freestyle form, Hip Hop continues to evolve with its styles of popping, locking, and breaking and has earned its place in dance studios alongside the other styles of dance.  Children's Hip Hop classes offered during our summer dance camps and during the school year.  Schedules & Pricing

Musical Theater     Dancing for musical theater encompasses a wide range of dance and music styles.    From Vaudeville to Vegas, jazz to abstract movement, this dance class brings pure enjoyment while it embodies creative and artistic expression through a variety of music styles to anyone, regardless of dance experience.  Children's Musical Theater classes offered during our summer dance camps  and during the school year.  Please contact us for further details.
  
Liturgical     Liturgical dance is a physical form of prayer and worship which develops rapport between dancers in both faith and movement, but also deepens the religious experience for fellow worshippers.  This form of interpretive dance style brings together body, mind, and spirit and can be done by anyone.  The influences of various dance styles such as ballet, folk, or contemporary dancing are generally used in this inspirational and fulfilling form of dance.  Children's Liturgical dance classes offered during the school year.  Please contact us for further details.
  
Family Dance Parties!     How about fun activity for the whole family?  Everyone will enjoy learning simple dance steps from ballroom and group dances and then taking them to the dance floor!  Watch for family events throughout the year. Ages 3 to 103!     Events
